Today, four long-serving and widely respected Orange County political leaders – Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, Congressman John Campbell, Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, and Supervisor Bill Campbell – added their names to the quickly growing list of endorsements for John Eastman’s campaign for Attorney General.

"As liberals actively press their agenda through the courts, we need an Attorney General that has the technical knowledge and can demonstrate bold leadership in order to restore freedom and the authority of the Constitution in California,” said Congressman Campbell (R – Newport Beach).

“John Eastman is a superb constitutional scholar, well recognized and respected for his legal intellect but even more importantly for his integrity and character.  His right thinking and constitutional litigation skills are much needed in the office of California Attorney General,” commented Rohrabacher (R – Huntington Beach).

“John Eastman has spent his career advancing the conservative principles he and I share,” added DeVore (R – Irvine). “Many landmark legal decisions that protect some of our fundamental Constitutional rights are a result of John Eastman’s phenomenal record as a litigator.”

Supervisor Bill Campbell continued, “From protecting Proposition 13 to the rights of private property owners and the moral foundations of our society, every Californian has benefitted from John Eastman’s work at making our state more safe, prosperous, and free.”

“I am so thankful that these four fine leaders would come on board my campaign as we continue to reach out to Republican voters throughout the state,” said Eastman. “Their endorsements continue the momentum we have been building.”

“Orange County Republicans know a real conservative when they see one. And after seeing the field of candidates emerge for Attorney General, those who had yet to make up their mind about whom to support are supporting John Eastman,” offered Jeff Flint, strategist for the Eastman campaign.

Having just recently stepped down as Dean of Chapman Law School, John Eastman’s campaign has gotten off to a fast start, having already added the support of Former US Attorney General Ed Meese, Former Governor George Deukmejian, Congressman Tom McClintock, and some of the most well-known conservative talk radio show hosts in the country. Eastman, a former Clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is widely respected as one of the top conservative legal minds in America.
